Birthday's all around!!!

Hello peeps,

It's raining birthdays in our family these days and I'm having sooper fun designing and making cards and memorable gifts for everyone :)
I'm soo loving it !! :)
Here's a card I made on order :)

I kept this card simple and used contrasting colors to bring our the cuteness and sharpness each color brings on it's own.

I was going through the internet and found Iris Folding as one techniques, I had always been fascinated by this but I never knew what's it known as.. until I found it on internet and decided to put this up in this card..
I have made a gift box using the iris-fold technique :)

The card opens up to reveal the gorgeous birthday cake :) Yummy !!!

Another view of the card :)

Closer look into the cake :)

I still havnt written any wordings on the card and need to complete it :)
hopefully today....

Yayy... I'm totally loving the cakes all around :) (b/w I baked a yummy chocolate cake some time back, it was awesome ;) )

Vases !!!

Hellos Peeps, I have this fascination of turning any bottle into a vase... so far have made 6 of them into vases, the only thing is they are all of the same shape... now I need to collect different shapes bottles and turn them into vases..' Here's what I made from a Real Fruit Juice Bottle :) so far this is the second one with the same embossed paper, the first one simply has a bow tied to it !!! I thought of making it colorful this time and did some quilling.. and I simply, totally... loved doing the quilling.... Here's another view.... Loving the bright shades of colors on this one!!! And .... I picked up some flowers from an earlier vase... and put them up here... so this is how it looks with the flowers.... Gosh.. I still have a lot of flowers made... need to assemble them soon.... and I love the blue one's so they are the one's to be assembled soon.... I hope you liked them!!! Entering it up for the following challenges: 1. Lulupu's ...

Mixed media Monogram

I'm back with anoother creation and I know that I have been telling myself this time and again, to keep my blog updated, but things are still a little topsy tuvey at my end!!! A couple of trips back home and then my falling ill and then my little one, I'm still getting back on the track! We just recently celebrated our little one's first birthday, which was not very elaborate, but kind of slow show!!!! Hence most of the last fortnight went in planning and executing our little affair for our little one!!! Will definitely share up the pictures soon of the party! Here's what I made for my little one, a pretty Monogram for her, and which can act as a nameplate too!!! There is no denying the fact that turquoise is my fav color and I just simply love working with this little happiness bundle! Here are some of the closer pics!!!  Now that's a sweet little angel for my little angel!!!   I hope you liked my first creation for my little bundl...
