Love Mail Box

Hi Crafty People,

I'm back again with a Love mail box. It had been long in my mind, and had seen it about 2 weeks ago on pinterest and had loved it. I dont remember the board where I saw it, but it had been on my to do list sincee then.
You know, everytime I see something good, I note it down and look down upon the instructions on the net to find myself one and make it.
I found the instructions here http://www.simplymodernmom.com/2010/01/special-delivery-paper-mailbox-tutorial-and-pattern/
but I did some alterations to suit my dimensions.

Here's what I made:

I had made an prima rose flower following a tutorial, it's the pink one there, I agree that it's not very pretty so have decided to make more of these till i get perfection :)

I have made 2 mini love cards along with it to be kept inside the mail box !

This is how the mailbox looks like when completely closed.. I have handwritten the Love sentiment on the flag and have outlined it with silver sparkle pen. My new thing here is the stamps !!!
I hope you all liked my new creation!!
All Thanks to simple modern mom!!!

  10. This is a fabulous project Manu. Lots of work and detail involved. Our Challenge this week at Creative Craft Challenge is 'New Beginnings'. This could be for example a change in your life, new baby, wedding etc. Unfortunately I could not see that connection with your project, you had mentioned new stamps which would not be relevant to the Challenge set.

A Baby album

A few months as (yes months, precisely in March??) I got a call from a friend of mine and she wanted me to make a baby album for her daughter. It was supposed to have a lot of memories from her first year and her first year keepsake album too and I must say, I was pretty excited to start on the same. But things got tumbled up and I ended up making the album in August( I know that's a lot of delay, but with me not well and stopping all my crafty adventures for a while, there was no choice ) and one good news is... I finally bought a BIGSHOT, the die cutting Machine :) and I'm sooper happy. Now i'm embarking on the journey to collect all my favourite dies :) Finally, I completed the album before I embarked on my long due vacation back to both my homes, I delivered it and I'm sooper happy since it has been loved and liked by all :) I have made a lot of flowers for this album as the album is all girlish and little girls love flowers :) I had a lot of them punched an
