First DT post for Kukies Basket

Hi All the Creative peeps,

As you all know that I'm a DT for Kukies Basket, it's an amazing journey where we showcase a lot of projects made by the DT members. For this month,  knocking on our heads was the Tim Holtz sewing die and we had to make something using it.
Some things which can be made using the die are cards, tags, incorporating in some journals/mixed media to name a few. I chose to make a card using the same.

Since Women's day just passed by the corner, I decided to use the same theme to make a 'U r special' Card. It's my acknowledgement to all the pretty crafting ladies out here who are soo talented in every aspect of their lives and manages everything that comes along their way in an amazing way.

Now for some inspirations

I  have always loved the flowing gowns and they are soo cute, hence this is what I made with the die. I had to cut some lower portion of the die to suit to my needs and then made a fan out of the pp and stuct it to the lower part to make it like a fish cut gown and which gives the imagination of a flowing one too.

Did you notice the cute lace type punch cut at the bottom of the gown?
It's a daisy punch I have and I added it to give it an 3D look .

Here's what the complete card looks like..
I chose the bold and bright colors because they represent the bold one's we are ... :)

I hope you enjoyed checking this post out.
The Tim Holtz Die is amazing and opens up lots of opportunities to experiment with the same.
What are you gonna make with the die??

Love!
Manu
