Love is all around....

Hello People...

Def Love is all around, I had happened to see a accordation style card sometime back but then it was made with a die. and I dont have dies, The idea of the card appealed soo much to me that I somehow and anyhow wanted to make it.

This gorgeous die is designed by Karen Burniston who is an acclaimed designer for Sizzex and this die can be purchased from here http://www.sizzix.com/product/658035/sizzix-bigz-die-album-accordion-flip-3-d
I thank Karen for making such a fab die which looks awesome !!!

Here's what I made :)
This is how the card looks like when opened.. and well.. who would want to keep it closed and locked.. :)
This is my bestest till date.. and I love it!

Close up of one of the flaps...

Close up of the other end....

Another complete angle of the whole card...

This is the front of the card.. Sorry for the blurred pic .. but this was the best one out of the whole lot of the front pictures..

I hope you all liked my creation.. and yes.. I think I should give some rest to my cutter and my poor hands.. they were numb yesterday while cutting everything :D

Vases !!!

Hellos Peeps, I have this fascination of turning any bottle into a vase... so far have made 6 of them into vases, the only thing is they are all of the same shape... now I need to collect different shapes bottles and turn them into vases..' Here's what I made from a Real Fruit Juice Bottle :) so far this is the second one with the same embossed paper, the first one simply has a bow tied to it !!! I thought of making it colorful this time and did some quilling.. and I simply, totally... loved doing the quilling.... Here's another view.... Loving the bright shades of colors on this one!!! And .... I picked up some flowers from an earlier vase... and put them up here... so this is how it looks with the flowers.... Gosh.. I still have a lot of flowers made... need to assemble them soon.... and I love the blue one's so they are the one's to be assembled soon.... I hope you liked them!!! Mixed media Monogram

I'm back with anoother creation and I know that I have been telling myself this time and again, to keep my blog updated, but things are still a little topsy tuvey at my end!!! A couple of trips back home and then my falling ill and then my little one, I'm still getting back on the track! We just recently celebrated our little one's first birthday, which was not very elaborate, but kind of slow show!!!! Hence most of the last fortnight went in planning and executing our little affair for our little one!!! Will definitely share up the pictures soon of the party! Here's what I made for my little one, a pretty Monogram for her, and which can act as a nameplate too!!! There is no denying the fact that turquoise is my fav color and I just simply love working with this little happiness bundle! Here are some of the closer pics!!!  Now that's a sweet little angel for my little angel!!!   I hope you liked my first creation for my little bundl...
